The Dudley Road merc was in the old TWM livery so could have been 1528/9 i couldnt see correctly as i was on the 402 at the time but im 99% sure 1538 was parked up there it looks like the old 404 mercs are being targeted for withdrawal shame as 1539 is one of the best mercs they have especially in its first livery which was in a perfect state when debranded from the 404

1529 has a side destination blind
1528 doesn't.
That's how I tell the difference  :)
Yeah, 1539 was a good one, as long as 1534 doesn't get withdrawn for a while I'll be happy  :), and I don't think it will, spotted on the 127 Monday

Yeah i only saw the back of the buses very quickly and not the side due to the way they were parked, 1534 was on the 410 today so still in service and becuase its been refurbished and repainted it will remain in service for a while longer i would have thought

Hs it been refurbished? ??? Last I checked they just repainted it and removed the 404 route maps off the windows

Ash

1534 might not have been refurbed just thought it could have been especially when it was repainted alot of mercs were being fully refurbed at that time

I don't if any of you would class this as an unusual working but I saw 7084 (R 84 GNW) on the 410 at 12:43 today near to where i live in Wednesbury.

if you said it was working on the 410 this evening after the buses off the 428/9 do the 410 workings in the evening i would say it was not rare, but to see it in the daytime its very rare as its normally sees merc operation only

I saw a 56 reg claribells bus heading down the Bristol Road away from town about 5 PM and then it turend off at the 1 towards the cricket ground. Never seen a claribells anywhere else except east Birmingham. Any ideas what It coulld have been doing there

Phil

Heres the link to it, don't think it was in service as it didn't have any passangers on

1534 hasn't had a refurb, last time i went on it half the seats were hanging off. Just so im clear, 1538 and 1539 are parked outside WB garage

Claribels have the contract for the Test Match shuttle service from Edgbaston into the City Centre.

Pensnett had 4804 operating on the 140/241 yesterday (Wednesday) which provided a very nice run out to Dudley!

Not very likely. I don't think any bus would get anywhere near getting into service like that

534 and a b10L on the 404 :o thats super rare i doubt they had the destination blinds tho i dont think they have blackheath or cradley heath on them but this may have changed, 1896 also on the 404 looks like a few of the branded omnilinks were unavailable

Paul

534 had a blank blind don't know about the B10L
Only saw it from the side
