Last step entry buses

M834 SDA is the last step-entry Scania double decker with TGM, M162 GRY and H804 RWJ have been withdrawn and will probably be scrapped.  834 is at TGM Stansted but even this bus may not be around for long.

As indicated on the Fleet  News section the last step-entry double decks (Volvo Olympians 4687/92) are withdrawn leaving just 5 Scania and three Dennis Dart single decks (2000/1/38) with step entrances.

there was one on the 890 seen in w'ton bus station last week. didnt get number though

3489 seen on 33/55 on Saturday 26th. However, today I've seen no Scania's - not even on the Tesco Shuttle, which was operated by a Versa. You don't think they've gone, do you? <:(

As stated on the fleet news section Dart 2038 has finally been withdrawn, but
Hinckley's 2000/1 are now the Arriva groups final step Darts.  Getting closer to 100% low floor........

I've just noticed in STAFFORD thread (message No. 56) that 2000 and 2001 are evidently now withdrawn and stored there. Just Telford's three and Wardles three now! Does anyone know what the Wardles are used on? Patrick.

The demise of 2000-2 (P-MLE identified in Arriva Stafford thread) eliminates the step entry Dennis Dart from Arrivas empire.  Of course Hinckley depot brought with it some Mercedes Benz Varios but counting full size buses only means just five step-entry single deck Scanias are left with Arriva Midlands and as a whole.
