I wonder if any D&G buses will be sent to Cannock when the 7 new evoras are put into service? This might be a chance to get rid of some problem buses

Highly unlikely but anything can happen with Chaserider as we've found out

engine aint failed yet but its a disgrace really is, carnt beleive its even sent out in service in such a poor state tbh -  its about time some investment on vehicles was made for the 828/6 service  the vehicles are truly shocking most of the time even the old arriva volvos are dog rough,

The Evora's will displace 6 versas. Most of the older solos are to be scrapped and replaced so can't see them sending them to cannock

No investment for Cannock must regret the day they took over from Arriva

On 13 July those two were parked up at Cannock along with a mystery third. They were fitted with seatbelts which I expect will be removed. Apparently they are waiting for next stop announcements to be fitted, and after that will be in service

BP24 GWZ has just popped up on bustimes for what looks like some ticket machine testing, currently tracking at Cannock depot. Seemingly has the fleet number 6002

The Centrebus group seem to be introducing four-digit fleet numbers for new vehicles. High Peak in Derbyshire have had a pair of brand-new Optare Solo SRs delivered numbered 3001/2.

This was discussed on High Peak thread a few days ago if you have a quick glance.

Yeah they are in order to accommodate a new back office system, which requires all new additions to the fleet to be 4 digits
