There's no just over 1,000 buses SORN

I assume with that number of buses now SORN, I'm assuming those speculating that frequencies will soon increase are way off the mark.

From Sunday 10th May 2020 there will be frequency increases on services.
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/information/service-changes/coronavirus-timetable-update-from-10th-may-2020

55/94 increased to every 20 minutes - combining to every 10 minutes between City Centre and Fox and Goose, 28 increased to every 20 minutes and 14 doubled to every 15 minutes.

So presumably a reinstatement of some of a few more buses will occur?
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Just over 30 coming back

With about a third of nx buses temporarily withdrawn, it would be interesting to know how many buses the other large operators have taken off eg TFL, Stagecoach etc.

Two thirds are temporally withdrawn, there's 1000 SORN of circa 1520+ NXWM fleet.

An additional 30 will be re-instated soon.

Sorry, I meant to say two thirds withdrawn.

From the LOTS website http://www.lots.org.uk/:
"The standing-down of many buses that are now temporarily surplus due to reduced PVRs across the whole bus route network in London during April is around 300 vehicles, not a lot in the context of the overall fleet of over 8000."

But don't forget that TfL is still running mostly a full normal Sunday service (with a few extra journeys in the morning) and with some routes are running a normal Saturday service https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/buses/bus-changes?intcmp=47904where as the rest of the country is running more sensible frequencies for the number of users.
And they are still charging where as the Mayor has said that buses are now free. Strangely TFL is broke and they want government help.

@Tony will all bc tridents return into service soon

Think I saw 6999 on the 94. Which I think is one that's back as I can't see it on the May 4th list in the PB Garage thread.
(It was the 16 branded one that's 20 minutes behind 7512).

Is there an ETA on when some of these buses will come back? I do know that on Monday some services will have frequency increases because of the government allowing more shops to open.

753 has been painted and 5422 needs some defects doing. Both will be out by mid week next week.
