Just watched your video Matt and it sounds identical thrash/Kickdown i told you about on the 126 a few Sundays back (Mega Mega thrash i had through Bearwood).

Problem with the 9/126 etc is because they are given less time in the evening (Even less than a Sunday) they have to kickdown and thrash like that the keep on time

They are given exactly the same amount of time in the evening as on a Sunday

Here is one that might seem strange if you're only used to the Birmingham Based ALX B7's http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=WHQzs7xcijc#t=92

They do sound good with a ZF, shame you can't really hear what's going on due to the terrible body rattle and the rediculously loud indicator chirp on these things, sure it must irritate the drivers and can probably hear it still ringing in their ears long into their relief break!

Personally I prefer the Voith version but I think it's good to have both types in the WM for variety and I do like the ZFs too. I think, after the Presidents, that Coventry's Geminis are the best B7s in the fleet though but that's just my personal taste! The body was very rattly but I suppose it is 10 years old now, I wouldn't want to drive it all day though!

Here is an old one of mine I had forgotten all about, especially good if you like Gemini's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhWQ39RHUNc&feature=player_detailpage#t=51 Click on the annotation at 2 minutes just to skip over the long wait.

Not as much as WN's 53 plates. Filmed a mega thrash aboard 4541 (Oneof NX's fastest Tridents) on the 126 today

He meant the whine of the 46** Geminis Nath. ;)

#176
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKt9Fq3Kklo&feature=player_detailpage#t=242 Possibly a new favourite bus of mine, had it a few times over the year now and each time It's impressed me, has a howl similar to 4370's old howl although it is very quiet on this one.

On the subject of my videos, someone has privately requested to use my video of 4444 to make an omsi soundpack, so potentially we could soon have a semi decent zf trident soundpack for omsi :P

Well the Lea Hall examples were never that noisy on the 17, besides everyone knows I like a nice noisy ZF ;)
