:o you found it, took me ages to find this bus, seen it on the same day but my camera died  :'( was devastated

A) Havent got my camera
B) Ive finshed for the day an im going home
C) When Im busy taking a photo of something else then it just catches my eye  ::)

I dont think ive ever wanted to photograph a bus as much as 4444

It'll happen soon enough, it took me ages to find 1419 when it transferred to Walsall, but a little perseverance (and a bit of help from Walsall Garage!) And I found it and snapped it!

just dpends where 4444 is on that day due to there being

14, 97, 22/23 (peaks), 24, 60, 59, 61/63, 45/7  all with quite high frequency it can be anywhere, which makes it even harder to find  ::), if only there was a Blackberry app to track buses  ;D ;D ;D

There is one for London buses online, but sadly nothing for brum! Anyway I'm going off topic now so I'll shush :P

Birmingham need one purposely for buses like 4444  ;),

Now my camera has video record so next time im in town might make a little bus video see how it goes, but i prefer pictures myself, but willing to give it a try  :)

4541,4545,4558,4560,4561,4575 and 4578 (Voith),4585,4586 (Euro 4),4588,4589 and 4609 can all produce goid thrashes ;)

Blimey. I thought you said 'can all produce groin thrushes' - glad I read that twice!

The ones you've mentioned have a distinctive Planet Gear (diff, google it) whine.

I think you mean the distinctive whine you get on 03/53-plates when they're cruising, the 04/54's don't seem to do it so much

No Matt I mean the differential-noise. Additionally, when using engine braking in 3rd gear ZF, gives a fantastic high pitched whinge.

Well the majority of the 04 plates are Voiths so won't do it ;) Although 4576 and 4578 make a slight ZF sounding whine at high speed ;)

Will watch you video in a bit Matt :) Currently on the forum and doing homework atm ;)
