4180 is... interesting... that's worth a video I suppose. But none else spring to mind. 4358 was fast but YW stole it back. Head over YW territory that'll be worth a viewing.

Yeah 4180 was always a welcome bus when it was at YW, I also liked 4161.

Well the main thing you want in a video is a good sounding bus, and for the Enviros at Pensnett:

4814 has its famous whine/warble
4815 is the one that always sounds completely different
4818 and 4803 are very loud
4825 does a nice growly sound when it overrevs sometimes
4805 also sounds great when overrevving

4826 and 4811 both constantly screech, 4813 also does it but quieter

4800 and 4806 have a different whooshing sound

Avoid 4824, it hardly ever overrevs. 4809, 4810 and 4828 sound rough, however 4809 is constantly howling.

4816/4799 at YW almost always makes the ghost-howling sound, one of my favourites for it.

Both times I've tried filming PE Enviros, I always end up with 4826 -_-

Anyone who knows me knows I always call it 4816, always will be 4816 to me. It's nothing to do with the incident, it's just always made a lovely howling sound

Think i once filmed on 4607 but can't find it now so must have deleted it out of my files.

Maybe Ashley has a video of 4607? It appeared to lose its whistle whilst in for repaint/refurb.

Wish i filmed on 4545 today after the flat out thrash i had on the 126! I have a video of 4609 on the 126 which i will upload and post the link up :)


LS, Is there any BC buses (Mainly tridents) you would recommend filming? (Any particular buses)

I will also film 4698 when i manage to catcb it! ;)

I have only just found this argument as this topic does not interest me. I thought you two were friends. No one else on here is interested in your petty on group arguments. There are not needed. despite comments made the couple of times I have actually banned people I do actually want people your age on here as without teenagers getting interested in buses, preservation and the like will grind to a halt as my generation drop out the other end, but I will use the ban tool again if I need too.

Any disagreements must be sorted out away from the rest of use. you can speak in person, email or use the forum personal messaging. but not in full view of everyone else!

Coventry and Wolves are next on my hit list, I'm hoping to get Coventry B7TL more than anything, and some 4 speed voith tridents :P
But as Matt knows, I don't tend to bother filming on crowded or noisy buses as it spoils it so I could also be in for a long wait!
