I'm still not clear on what this actually means but this says the 23 terminus will be moved from Newman College due to 'safety concerns'(?!).

https://bustimes.org/registrations/PD0001111/24

And this one says that the X21 will have a new stop introduced to serve the new shopping park at Selly Oak. Making it even less limited stop than it never was before:

While, valid I agree with this, it seems daft to just skip it out, surprised the X20 won't be serving it.

The safety concerns may be car related and parking. There were people who kicked up a fuss about the buses terminating there.

Same with the 45/47 which looks like it's had the same effect https://bustimes.org/registrations/PD0001111/123

As for the ☓21, I highlighted it because the previous registration said 'Normal Stopping', so I wondered what had changed. If this is true then it should've been done a while ago as it makes sense. However, as you say makes it less Limited Stop.

I see. Hadn't thought of that. The terminus stop is situated immediately in front of the turn in to the staff car park and deliveries entrance, which could restrict visibility and make it difficult for vehicles trying to emerge from there. I'm assuming it's only a very minor route change then.

This appears to be already happening. I've witnessed 23's doing this for a number of weeks now (i.e going straight down Cromwell Road then right to Woodcock Hill instead of turning at Newman Uni, then laying over at the top of Moors Lane... presumably coming back down Genners Lane past the reservoir

Interesting. That sounds like the old 21 terminus. I wonder if they'll ever resurrect "Bangham Pit" as a destination.

Does the 23 actually serve any of the Banham Pit Estate though?

It doesn't but if the terminal point is moved to the junction of Moors Lane and Genners Lane that was where the 21 (before its extension to Bartley Green) finished and that showed Bangham Pit. I suspect they'll stick with Bartley Green as the destination. Most people have no idea where Bangham Pit is anyway.

True but the 21 did serve Bangham Pit. You could say the same about Woodcock Hill to be honest. Not even sure it actually exists. Probably will stick with Bartley Green though.

This stop the X21 will serve for the retail park in Selly Oak... will it be the Gibbins Road stop of which the X64 use to serve? Would make sense if it was.

I was thinking a stop could be put on the new road just after/before it.
That said it stopped at the old Gibbins Road stop today to let someone off so it might be.
