4037 had a defect of some sort (not sure what it was) while working I presume the 09:58 73 ex Solihull as it was parked up by my local stop for the 73 towards the Yew Tree (opposite Mardon Road) with hazard lights flashing seen between 10:30-11:00 4037 may have been there since 10:10 if it did work the 09:58 ex Solihull.

Overheard a driver on the S1 saying about him breaking down on the 73 - he said he was there for about 2 hours. Lost all pressure and couldn't even shut the doors.

Now come to think of it Matt when I walked passed the driver was trying to shut one of the doors then. :) What time did you hear the driver say that? :)

So 4037 must have been working the 09:58 ex Solihull then so it was there til 12:30 at the latest. Its a good job this didn't happen during either of the rush hours ;)

4321 Expired Pershore Rd/Priory Road this afternoon. Don't know what was the issue, no fluid leaks as we passed in the motorcar.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Stuharris 6360

Caught a 120 today (B7RLE) and it suddenly cut out. The driver managed to restart it, but i heard him radio PN and say what had happened, he also told them that the brake warning light had come on. They told him to turn the engine off and "reset the system" The Driver said that as he was close to Dudley, he would do it at the bus station. Surely isn't it dangerous running in service with the brake warning light on??
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

4066 broke down on the 966 in Rowood Drive, Solihull today, all passengers transferred to next service at 11.30.

1672 was in Wolves bus station at roughly 1 o clock, give or take an hour each way (had no phone so no rough time!), being attended to by an engineer, it didn't look good.

Sh4318

4653 broke down on the Bristol Road about an hour ago. Not sure why it was even on the Bristol Road

Depending on where it was, it was probably taking up/coming off an 11 duty in Selly Oak. The 11s have been a bit wild today, I saw 4066 coming up Kings Heath high st with 11A on the blinds this morning  :o

Sayeed

802 broke down on the Tennal Rd (99) and one of the E400Hs broke down on the Edmunds St

There seemed to be a bit of trouble with buses in Wolverhampton bus station this lunchtime!

555 came in and was seen to by an engineer due to an apparent issue with a windscreen wiper, 508 was parked up on Stand A showing 62 but with hazards on & 4006 temporarily broke down on the 59 (the passengers waiting for the 59 seemed to have great difficultly understanding the driver/inspector informing them to board the next 59 on the stand behind - by the time several of them understood they got there just as it pulled away). 4006 was seen to by the engineer after he had finished with 555 and was soon on its way on a 59E - although I'm not sure where it was turned!

Trident 4609

Although 4006 isn't on the 59 ??? Did you mean 4008 as I saw that running down Lichfield Road out of service today?

Probably turned at Wednesfield or accidently had the wrong display (Happens regually)
