One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

What was 4157 doing in Longbridge, doesn't it sport Alum Rock branding, or am I behind the times?

To be fair it is my fault as it should've only been posted in one topic.. [or has that gone now the post count has gone?..]

It was on the 24 in the morning... Anyways, 4157 aside, there was a broken down trident (from a 23A service, presumably) on Westbourne Road, and near Quinton Tesco, 540* was a few feet away from the bus stop, with no sign of electricity whatsoever!

That 540* is the one I saw on a Mansfield on the Bristol!

I wonder what happened to it! I only saw it from the opposite side of the road... I'd say - most likely - an electricity malfunction, or somewhere along the lines of that.

It was 5404 that was dead as a dormouse by Quinton Tesco this morning.

engineer started it with the battery pack and took it back to garage, leaving me as i said with 818 and a standing load from Sutton.

Trident 4609

4554 appeared to break down at WN bus Station this afternoon parked in Stand U for at least 50 minutes before being. Taken back to garage. 2071 replaced it on the 255

Also I was told by a driver on the 59 this morning that the trident he had was defective so it was replaced with another trident which was called back by the garage due to a leak so 4002 was sent out to replace it
