Think I just missed you again. I left on a B7RLE on the 59 at about that time.

I saw 5513 being moved from the 59 stand to the empty one by the exit before I left though. What I heard was that no driver turned up.

I was in Wolverhampton 18:30 - 18:45 this evening and the unusual workings were coming in their droves!

In case you didn't read my post 5513 went onto the 25.

There were 2 B7RLEs on the 59 this evening, 2027 and 2076

Yes, loads last night, branded buses too, they all got chucked around anywhere. It was 2027 I was on, I think that had been on all day. 5513 be in a state after a few journeys on the 25.

Then that was it that there was no driver for 5513 (Wasn't aware of that so thanks) We waited for 4608 to turn up (Peak board 59/14). 2027 was out on the 59 all day with 2076/5420 replacing 4553 and 5513 in the evening.

something was wrong with 4770 other than it being 24 minutes late then 4771 was making a rather annoying bleeping noise  ::)

Either the BridgeClear or it was overheating. The BridgeClear beeps every three seconds or so, whereas when overheating it's more of a continuous bleep-bleep-bleep-bleep etc.

I think may have been something to do with the doors/wheelchair ramp

I think only Central vehicles have the bridge clear installed. Since the 139 incident a few years ago. I have certianly not heard it on any other garage's buses

Some of AG's Presidents have it, but I guess they are the ex-BC ones then. When I used to travel home from Solihull on the 37, they'd start 'beeping' as the bus got nearer to Olton station, then as the bus passed through the station you'd hear a rasping voice barking "HALT! LOW BRIDGE". It would also often start beeping when approaching the Lincoln Road junction.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Thats probably why BC's 46** tridents have BridgeClear and WN's 45** and 46**'s tridents don't

Nope, Pensnett's Enviros all have it, hence how I know about it in the first place, although I bet it was fitted at Central, if they were new to Pensnett, they probably wouldn't have it

On the 9 they always bleep on Broad Street, near the ICC

On the 141 they always bleep on Cradley Heath high street near the interchange

That's because they were new to Central Matt, like the Ex Central Presidents that Stu mentioned

trident4370

Yeah 4799 has one too, all done at BC.

Yeah, realised just after I posted it!

Are there any buses at Central which were new to a different garage and don't have the BridgeClear?
