Hansons KU52RYO broken down opposite Quinton ASDA, towards Halesowen. Bonnet up with a fluid leak underneath. Not often you see a Hansons bus fail.

A Dart was parked on Andrew Road facing away from the bus station about half an hour ago displaying PRIVATE. Didn't look which number.

1864 broke down at Dyas Road this afternoon. I think 7031 replaced it

Also, an OmniLink on the 66A this morning had a problem with its wheelchair ramp at Erdington 6 Ways, it was stuck unfolded

These ramps, as you are probably discovering yourself John, are a pain in the a***, terrible design. You can fold the ramp away and drop it back into the floor, but if the handle doesn't sit completely flat to satisfy the sensor, you won't be able to move. All it needs is a bit of grit or dirt to get in there and you're knackered.

Depending on which hose has split, usually yes, if accessible. If not, then they top up the coolant and boot it back to garage. (By boot I actually mean "nurse it back" - industry terminology ect ect)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
