Caught the 18:25 X56 short journey from the city centre just now, there was a grand total of 5 passengers on board, with about 20 people asking at Bull St "do you go to Kingstanding?"

I don't see much of a future for this route

I wonder how many people stood waiting for an X51 didn't realise they could possibly have used this X56. I know it's not always practical, but you'd think they may have had an inspector with each departure for the first couple of weeks, shouting out to all passengers where the bus was serving.

It does the PM 791 school service, then dead into Birmingham to operate the 1633 935 service, it then goes back into Birmingham as the 1755 934 and finally operates the 1850 935 into Walsall before returning dead to depot.
