There is possibly another accident on the X51 this evening.

An articulated lorry and 4125 are at the scene on Birmingham Road close to the junction of Wellington Road (near ‘The Bell’).
Traffic being diverted down Wellington Road, so could not see if there was any damage.

Alan

4125 in service today so certainly not damaged

it was 2 cars according to this http://www.expressandstar.com/news/emergency-services/2013/08/02/two-people-hurt-as-cars-in-walsall-collision/

547 came in to Carlyle Bus & Coach yesterday afternoon for repair and 4129 has just arrived.

With all the repair work being sent to Carlyle Bus & Coach of late, it sounds as though it would be in NX's interests to acquire the business and have it as an internal repair shop, whilst still doing work for outside operators. Similar to what Wilts & Dorset did with the Hants & Dorset trim shop

I was expecting the branded buses to be 4880 - 84 given the lack of front fleetnames but maybe it will be 4876 - 79

I would think 4880-4 might get it as they have no front or rear logos were the new branding is applied. I could also see a few more 487*s gaining it, say 4874 and 4875 as well as the ex-935 branded 4876/4879

There are now a lot more buses on these routes rather than just the 4 that were on the 935 before, sol it would make sense for a few more to be branded

That may be because the 997 already has the branded Enviros, and they have leather seats, and the 934/5/6 just uses Enviros with normal seats. I would like to see new 997 branding though, been my local route

I forgot about the round circle 997 on the side, apologies. I Think if the 997 revived a new branding it would turn out like the 33/51/529/87 branding ?.

Yes, all the 'new' brandings are being done in the same style.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

If they did a generic 'City to Perry Barr - Every few mins, 7 days a week' branding & applied it to the group of buses serving 51, 934,935,936 & 997, it wouldn't be as noticeable, when they jump routes, except if any of the buses went onto the X51, which doesn't serve Perry Barr technically.

lynx1103

There's a lot of 51/935 running boards interwork inch so not too many buses can be branded.
