I saw it too. A paint job from 15 years ago, full dark TWM blue seating and even the small connector bars fleetname. Can't recall the last time I saw one of those! Can't be many left!

Just spotted it in Walsall on the 10.

Why does the fleetname in the positions applied always look off centre?

Sure it wasnt the only one back in the day!

Just saw 6750 not too long ago on Warwick Road towards Acocks green, very unusual to see a Walsall bus around here

Reminds me of the fleet names on the Fleetlines - always applied almost touching the rear wheel arches.
Autofare 3 - the ticket that laughs in the face of contactless!

Not sure what has happened to 7031 that was due to the 12:45 37 to Willenhall it tracked on the 34 to Darlaston then hasn't appeared to return to Walsall, it hasn't gone down St Lawrence Way yet as I was going to to get on it, but I'm not sure if it's broken down or stopped tracking and may be late

It has run all it's mileage.

Bus times records the journey back into Walsall, and is currently 10 late on the 12:45 trip due to heavy traffic by Heath Road

Given all of the discussion about the Tridents in the "Withdrawn" thread, I noticed an Instagram post from westmidlandsbusphotos who posted a photo of 4125 with the the following:

"4125 :  the nicest looking & worst performing heritage bus......"

Not sure I understand what they were trying to say, but is this REALLY the worst performing heritage bus? It's out in service, it's earning its keep, it's a moving billboard for NX, so unsure what the poster was implying.

Thoughts?

To be honest, due to the times I'm about & the routes it operates on, I hardly see it out.

Same goes for 1834.

See, this is the thing. One's perception of its performance shouldn't be judged by how often one sees it. Given its age and selection for heritage status, surely it must be one of the better performing buses, and given that Tridents are now being withdrawn with gusto, it is certainly holding its own.

It's actually off the road at the moment while it is being prepared for a new MoT. It needs a bit more chassis welding

I did see it pass me as I walking to Bentley heading back to Walsall I was trying to track it as I was tempted to get it, but I figured even if I had seen it I would have been to early to where I was going.
