Does 6738 still have a name? Photographed it today in Bull Street (X51) and there was no name on the front. Didn't check the rear.

I love Walsall buses

Yes it does @darthdc. The name on it is "Lois Faith". It's missing the name on the front as it was involved in an RTC quite some time ago. For some reason, the name was never put back on after the vehicle had been repaired.

I've noticed a few buses in the short time I've been spotting, that are missing the names on the front. In my neighbourhood, I've noticed that 6908 is now missing the name on the front. There is a single decker that runs from YW that has a slightly different name on the front (1914 Grace Isobel - Grace Christine on the front).

Are we short of a Platinum at Walsall?

Have seen a 46xx & normal E400's on the odd Platinum route lately?

Is the X51 doing ok now? Considering the shambles of the train service currently i would hope so!

Dunno  about  the Cannock section,  but it does come in useful if a 31/32 is running late!

Noted recently 860's display is now working, as it used to display gobbledgook not so long back.

Was the original display fixed, or was a new unit installed?

(Guessing it was a loose wire?)
