I would expect there to be a fair few cascades centred around WA during the course of the next week or so with Platinum's 6719-6727 & 6729-31 all due to enter service

I wonder if at least some of the cascades may be delayed a few weeks until after V Fest?

V Festival buses normally come from existing resources with it being over a weekend / whilst reduced summer timetables are in operation.

There may be further WA B7RLE & DP E400 released for refurb for Dundee & Coventry respectively, which may delay the cascade process a little

Strangely enough, no. All the buses coming off are going to either Coventry or Dundee so are just being parked up waiting their turn in the paint shop

And the B10Ls?   1436 and 1447 at least are on the 40/41 today.

1475 is on it as well. I haven't seen all of the 40/41 buses yet.

1446 on 40/41, too.

Been told 4733-4737 are going to cv too? And 45xx geminis also going to Dundee?

Not sure if there's any truth to this?

I had to take 4765 back up to garage last night and was told to park it by paint shop so not sure if that's gone in?

Tony

Walsall not sending Platinums out tomorrow now, the bus allocation sheets have just been changed. Any remaining buses in the 1774-1786 range will be parked up tomorrow and not used again. Any buses in the 4763-4775 range will be parked up, but are initially keeping ticket machines in, just in case of any problems. All will go into the paintshop as soon as there is the capacity to take them

Yes, I was in the engineers office earlier, they have crossed out all the 'platinums' in the vehicle type on tomorrows sheet. There should be 15 Platinums out on Monday, first ones at Walsall into service
