What do you mean X51 & 997 'merging'?

They both run different routes between Brum & Walsall!

Not sure, there was a flyer in reception at walsall with it on, it also had information about the new E200's on it.

Isn't it a bit early for April fools?

Not an april fools, ill have a proper look tomorrow. It may just be the duty's merging didn't really pay much attention to it

The biggest waste of money I have seen was converting all Volvo B10L gas buses
To diesel starting from 2008 until 2009 only to withdrawal the majority in 2012 from service.

What a waste of money!

There aren't actually that many left to de-brand 4684-6 (X51 branded) & 4770-4775 (997 branded). The 997 branding is 7 years old (from new), so its more than paid for itself.

pity I liked the Geminis on the X51, the branding looks great on them and the interiors suited the route :( It's been said but I'll agree what a waste branding them in the first place.

Those buses can't now be far away from a repaint anyway, their NXWM livery is 7 years old.

As it was suggested following the Centenary Square celebrations the X51 may be inline for new high spec buses, with the interworking of the X51 & 997 from end of Oct, presumably the 997 will be in line for the same  :-\

yeah that's what I've just been thinking.

Always struck me as a bit strange that the 997 got any special attention, doesn't really strike me as being that important a route, even less so now that it doesn't go over Barr Beacon (granted, personal opinion).

4140 has come home to Walsall

With 4139/40 and 4327/8 rejoining WA,i wonder if 4325/6 will come back to WN from BC?

4139/4327 have not been seen in service or garage

4325 has never been at WA

4326 came for a few months in 2010

Just got home, so first chance to check this out
4139 currently parked in Walsall garage
4327 currently on the 7
