I read something in a Buses magazine years ago that was an article on WMT, as it was then, when discussing tendered services, said they were selective over what journeys they bid for, as the cheap buses used were disappearing from the fleet.

I took that to be the Nationals & Fleetlines, as they were the older vehicles at the time!

Any chance of looking at the front display of 860 as it was supposed to be displaying 'Walsall via Bloxwich 301' this evening, but the display I saw looked nothing like it!

Just would like to praise the drivers on the 4H. Despite their late runnings, the drivers always are extremely polite and will occasionally wait for you if you show your intentions of trying to board the bus. I know I've said this before but overall they seem a lot happier than PN drivers who well let's say look like they would rather not be driving.

Imagine if we all listed every convey of 2 we saw.
It'd just clog up the forum, i've seen loads of conveys of 2 today, 4300 and 4504 on the 11C this morning and 4674, 4231 and 4509 at the Fox and Goose on the 11A at about 17:00 this evening and lots of others aswell.

Yeah, it happens pretty much every day somewhere on the network, not really noteworthy. I saw two WA13's in convoy this evening, and I usually end up in front or behind another 79 some mornings too.

For some reason the 997's from Dyas rd toward pheasey are all late and the 28e not shown up again either. Any reason why?

Are there any issues with the 11/13 tonight? 1848 13 from outside Wood Green High School hasn't turned up and the stop's display says the next bus isn't until 1936, so I'm guessing the 1906 isn't coming either...

Considering 1878 is fresh out of the paint shop the offside looks decidedly battered. Looks like it's had a panel change but there also looks to be some filler repair just below the windows towards the rear. Thought it looked quite tatty... mind you it was also covered in road grime too!
