water inside the roof

I wondered how many buses are running round with water inside the roof? You know its there when the bus brakes or accels and the water can be heard sloshing about. I was on one recently and strangely it didnt leak into the saloon.

Are you sure this sound wasn't water trapped in the windscreen. Was it on a Trident? Many of the Tridents, particularly, I have driven have had water trapped below the front windscreen and this makes a loud sloshing noise when turning corners.

No, more like the roof to me and not at the front. I think it was a Mercedes OC500.

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. This is common on Megabus interdecks at the front upstairs on the far side front seat!
