Will Cannock garage be requiring more Sapphire buses then?

It does need more and we don't have them at the moment.  The 1 will be prioritised for Sapphire allocation.

@Simon@Arriva Could you not work in any later 2A journeys from Walsall, or even Bloxwich, Friday/Saturday evenings? Like you do the 60 & 825?

Any tat on the 2 then? Darts ? Solos? Has the X51 got Arriva panicking a bit? As from what ive seen of the 1 the loadings were never massive even before the X51 started? Certainly not enough to justify a 20 min frequency? Is the 2 no longer going to be Sapphire then?

Just had a reply from TfWm about the loss of service along Somerfield Road & Im asking the same question to both of you.

Why wasnt diverting the service along Leamore Lane(right at Kfc!) & Beechdale considered instead?

It's obvious that arriva are scared of NX, if not why increase the frequency of the 1 & the 60 to every 15 mins. It's because arriva fear that NX will take all of the burntwood to Lichfield passengers and as for the 1 arriva fear that the introduction of a new and more frequent service to and from walsall will provide a better option for passengers because of arriva's allocation problems on the route. By problems I mean a premium 'sapphire' route which is supposed to have streetlites but instead has darts solos etc which aren't reliable as it is. If it weren't for the 10A arriva wouldn't of shortened the 62, the only reason why they did it was because nx are targeting the 60's line of route not the 61/62's hense the frequency increase.
