Hi

We will be continuing with the 10 to Perton from 2nd September yes.

You can travel through but please let the driver know.  If you have a pass show it again or pay the fare.

Last week, the driver on 3725 kicked all of us off at Cleveland Street whilst terminating on the 10 in Wolverhampton. He shouted "Last stop!" I asked him is he going on the 70. He said yes, he has to go somewhere to start the 70... Not sure if drivers are meant to do that, @Simon@Arriva?

Bob

Is the 70 now, as an interurban route going to be landed permanently with 14/15/16 year old Cadets that are nearing the end of their working lives? Considering that being an interurban route, better buses such as Pulsars were considered more appropriate? Cadets have ridiculous legroom and surely would be more suited to local trips?

PointerDart

@Simon@Arriva, are the deckers based at TF still being taken out of service this month?

Hi.

Yes at the start of September once the Rail Replacement ends in Derby (last day of that is 4th September).

Hi,

There are 2 different terminal points in Wolverhampton depending on what the bus does next.  Cleveland Street is not one of them from what I know.  Sorry to hear this - I will ask that all staff are reminded of the correct route.

Simon, were there plans for an open day as part of Telford's 50th anniversary as a town? Just a thought.

Hi

I need to review all the allocations at Cannock again and will be doing so this week.

Bob

Are there refurbishment plans for any of Cannocks fleet? The two 55 plate standard bus seated Darts or the 06 plate Commanders in particular? Some of the Commander seats are looking tired dirty and starting to get a bit threadbare now. NX are retrimming buses 5 years newer ....

Bob

Would Cannock ever consider a Birmingham route again? That didnt stupidly use the M6 like the X31 ( What in the name of God were they thinking with that, that an hourly service would ever be able to run down the most congested stretch of motorway in the Midlands?)

Hi,

Yes there are plans to do some refurbs through the Autumn.

Hi,

This is unlikely for a number of reasons and with an ever improving rail service the bus can't really compete.

On which type of vehicles do you know?

RE the Birmingham link, if the bus ran a direct route ( not ludicrously down the most congested part of the m6) you might find it would be a hit. The X31 was often busy despite its hourly frequency and rubbish timekeeping

Have a look at how many people use the X51 through journies Bob, and you will soon see that most people will still use a train that takes 40 minutes
