I noticed  earlier tonight while on 4883 as 6887 passed on Nechells Parkway it had "the X13 crosses into the NX Outer Zones area" on the next stop announcement display.

Didn't realize there was a custom announcement for wheelchair users boarding. Sounds like the London announcement for it

Do any other garages have anything similar, because theorectically Walsall ought to have them for the X51 on current vehicles & the 8 ought to have them for future upgrades?

All of the platinums have it, as far as I know, they don't work on all of them. I got to use it today on 6875.

Hi guys just to let you know the next stop announcement on X51 is wrong its skipping Oak Avenue and Oakenhayes Farm in Great Wyrley/Landywood. Also, it announces "nBus not valid beyond this stop" at Ferndown Close however TfWM state New Masons Arms is the border

It appears Ferndown Close is the last TFWM flag on the route the following stop is a Staffordshire CC one. So the announcements are probably correct I would imagine?

I believe the same applies in Water Orton where Orchard Nurseries is the final TFWM flag.

Perhaps someone at TFWM ought to check their information?

(Slightly off topic, but I wish Staffs CC & NX would allow the Knot to be purchased at a TFWM stop, if you are going into Staffs without breaking your journey. If I want a day out in Staffs via Cannock, it's going to cost me £12, £5 for the outer zone & £7 for the Knot day ticket.)

6955 NSA time is slow by 5 mins

OH25

just noticed the announcements for Gillott Road is pronounced as (gill-lot) instead of (jill-lot)

OH25

also Hunton Hill on the X3/4/5

wouldn't it be better to add something like 'alight here for Gravelly Hill Station'

BBS

Shouldn't Dudley park Road be Acocks been village for the 4/4A towards Gospel Oak / Solihull, alongside the 4 saying Solihull station and not Solihull

GoldenSquid

Would be nice for the announcements to add something about where the bus terminates when approaching the last stop. e.g. for Bristol road services: "Next Stop, Pirory Queensway, where this bus terminates".

6810 no NSA on the 12 towards Birmingham, pretty much all other plat buses have got NSA for this route

Stu

Travelled on the 2 after work this evening all the way to Maypole - first time I've travelled to the end of this route on a bus which had correctly working NSAs!

It seems that with the recent update of the audio announcements, the voice (and display) now informs passengers of a forthcoming "hail-and-ride" part of the route on approaching the Prince Of Wales stop on High Street.

Curiously there are then two 'fixed-stops' announced, Maypole Grove and Gorleston Grove, which don't physically exist, apart from some 'temporary stop' notice attached to a lamp-post on Prince Of Wales Lane, which has been there since the route was amended. The end of the hail-and-ride section is then declared on approaching the Servite Court.

While this is a useful addition, and makes the audio/visual announcements compliant with legal regulations, I did chuckle to myself because on approaching the final stop, the system announced 'next stop Maypole Shops' but didn't say that this was the final stop, which makes it non-compliant!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath
