Have you put it in the reporting thread?

This is for WB, I just moved the previous conversation here since I'm not meant to make comments in the other thread.

4481 was reported on the list of vehicles not tracking that tony posted 2 days ago so doesn't need reporting

Every bus tracking on the 80 today (bar 4695) has been a platinum, including four Sutton Line branded platinums

I'm probably jumping to conclusions, but is it likely that the branded 68**s will be rebranded for the 80? They seem to be on that route more than most

The last set of ex Sutton Line branded buses were rebranded for the (5 and) 80
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Very high chance no... It's been mentioned that NX won't be doing route branding anymore, sadly.
Your new favourite 61/63 late night driver 😂

It is just a coincidence that the ex-PB E400MMCs are replacing the vehicles normally used on the 80. You'll find them being used on any other WB double-deck service too.

It is highly unlikely that any new route brandings will be applied to any vehicles.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

WB regards them as 'unbranded platinums' so the will go anywhere WB uses platinums

Sh4318

I saw 6815 on the 80 today, and (like AG, YW, BC and PB platinums) the rear destination read:
80 Birmingham

Does this mean all WB platinums will be adopting this format for their routes?

I'd imagine so as I've seen plenty of 74, 82 & 87 showing the same.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

When the opportunity arises to have the display controllers updated, then yes.

If you mean the number on the offside of the bus on the front then no, That will be where a blind set up for the rear has been used in the front and the setting not changed.

Jack

@MSU2008, Euro 6 Geminis aren't noteworthy on the 80.

If it was last year then yes I would agree with you, but with Geminis in their final days at WB then I'd say it is noteworthy.

They are Euro 6 and are allowed to be used, same goes for the Tridents that can be used. I've been seeing WB Geminis commonly on their B'ham services ever since all the Platinums arrived. Not noteworthy when they are Euro 6 and allowed in.
