Well if you don't you'd be in trouble.

In the 1980s I used to do overtime at all WMPTE garages so used to have to know every route in the West Midlands. I still know most of them now, but because I don't drive service work very often nowadays there are several changes I haven't kept up with.

Telford 2149 a mini Enviro 200 was leaving Stafford on Newport Road around 9.00am  yesterday with 'not in service' display and mechanic driving. Presumably worked in on a 5, but never seen such a small vehicle on that service.

Since Telford started working the 6, by using vehicles which work into Stafford on the 5 and therefore increasing the route requirement for the 5, the additional vehicles are either 57 reg Centro, 59 reg Pulsar or 3756 the 61 reg Pulsar. A few months ago Centros were frequently used, but much less so now.
