But, to answer your question, I tried translating the German article on Wikipedia and they were still in use in Berlin as of 2011, although some are now used for city tours in Berlin and elsewhere. I'm pretty sure that they aren't in normal service anymore though.

I've seen photos of a few operating as tour buses in Poland, and I recall seeing a photo of one in Czechia too.
