Not sure if this has been posted anywhere on this forum (not seen anything but apologies if it has), but looks like Wrightbus are finally turning out single deckers with the new single deck Eclipse 3 body:

Looks a lot more conservative that its Gemini 3 counterpart, but smart nonetheless.

These are on the B8RLE chassis; is there an integral Wrightbus single deck equivalent of the Streetdeck planned?

I've seen pictures of these lurking around for a while now. I think it looks bloody brilliant personally. The only downside is that it is on the B8RLE chassis but oh well.

What's up with the B8RLE chassis? I've no experience of it and it hasn't sold in huge numbers in the UK yet but its predecessor the B7RLE seems well regarded and reliable.

This new Eclipse 3 body reminds me of the ALX300 in some ways.

I thought ALX300 too!  Great looking bus!

Just re-done my website.  Check it out to see all my photos.  Updated almost every day!

Very posh with clear destination displays with route diagrams that stretch the length of bus inside.
Glazed roof panels makes interior feel light and airy.
Lack of legroom only negative point.
