You presume

Well they're not exactly going to up it back to every 20 a mere 2 months after reducing it are they?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Wouldn't surprise me some of the logic of this bus company.

Why is the X64 keeping the X if it's not Limited Stop anymore?
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

The precedent was set with the X96.

Not only will it not be Limited Stop, it'll be one of the slower more convoluted routes in the city, that doesn't see much of a stretch of any main road.

Expect it will be renumbered 21 in due course  ;)

Anyone notice how now there will be 6 buses a hour from Halesowen to Harborne with three different operators running two buses each

Yes, just posted in the Hansons thread that I am surprised to see the 004 increased again the half hourly as they appeared to have lost a lot of passengers to Diamond on the 142 whenever I have seen it. Do we know what the 004 amended route will be in Harbone. I can picture it stopping short at the Swimming baths.

Stu

I see they have scrapped the 83 in favour of a 'new' 80A service.

Also I see this new 120A service will operate hourly at evenings and on Sundays. So does this mean then that the Oldbury-Dudley section of the 120 will be reduced to hourly at these times? (With the 120 and 120A combining to maintain the 30min frequency between Oldbury and Birmingham)
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Wonder if they will space them out so it's a 10 minute service
between the 3 operators

Have I read it right that the 3 will now terminate at Yardley Wood (Slade Lane), if it is correct is the Yardley Wood to Shirley section being replaced by something else ?

I don't get why, instead of having a half hourly 289 and a every twenty 120A running on that section between Oldbury and Blackheath, they don't make alternate 289s into 289A and have that run via the 89 route. This means no extra vehicles are needed

Presumably as it would reduce that section between Blackheath and Oldbury to 2 buses an hour rather than 4 currently.
