As in Walsall and yardley scanias looking tatty?

As I keep saying a passenger don't care about how shiny a bus is exterior wise, they sit on the inside of the bus? Surely you agree?

True, but if I were going to get on a bus and I had a choice I'd personally pick the cleaner one.  It's just the way people are programmed : pick the nicer looking bus!

As a passenger, I will get on the first bus that turns up that will take me to where I need to get to in the shortest time possible. I'm not particularly fussed how it looks on the outside, if its a bit grubby and dirty inside, I might be a bit annoyed, but I'm not going to get off and wait for the next one instead, in the hope it might be a 'bit nicer'.

4253 is another tatty one.

No, people get the first bus that comes, whether it looks nice, or looks tatty. Most passengers just want to get from A to B and will get the first bus that comes. Nobody is going to wait around for a nicer looking bus either.

4550 now at Walsall for repaint. I believe that removes all 'dog bone' livery from all vehicles above 4261
Just a few WB B7/ALX and a few 41xx Tridents left now as far as double decks go.

How about 4289 Tony? I believe it is our last B7TL with them (not including 4253) unless it has gone in for repaint already

It has the remains of the bars above the lower windows from its lower repaint a few years ago

4253 is another tatty one.

4226, 4233, 4251, 4253, 4257, 4260 and 4289? all still have the connection bars

4551 back at Park Lane. 4550 has gone into the paintshop for a red/white repaint.

Does anybody know why the 454x and 455x Tridents at WN are only getting red and white repaints when the interior trim of these buses is disgraceful and other buses from 4425 upwards seem to be getting full crimson refurbs?

Nothing under 4718 is being refurbished in Crimson now, only the remainder of the batches approved for Crimson refurb last year are receiving the full Crimson treatment. A few select older buses in early NX livery with radiator bars are having red/white repaints only

Thanks for the update. I presume 4280 will go in after its Mega Ad is removed. The red is fully salmon pink.
