Where have I or anyone else said that?

4272 is about to have a Euro 6 exhaust system put on so won't be going anywhere other than Birmingham City Centre regularly.

It will be interesting to see which buses get withdrawn when this years new buses begin to arrive and where the new buses will be with much of the older fleet being given some care and attention.
4144 has certainly got a new lease of life in Coventry and feels newer than buses such as 4403 & 4405 which are in a bit more of a sorry state.

Sorry a misunderstanding. Glad to see that 4272 is getting an exhaust system as it certainly doesn't look it's age. 16 years old now I believe... And you certainly wouldn't guess it.

Would be nice if it did have a Crimson Repaint and a new nearside ad-frame.
Explains why I haven't seen it on the 51 in the last week or too.
