Another post on Facebook today: "SERVICE 12. Sorry we are currently broken down and mechanics are on the way." - Presumably one of the reliable Plaxton Primo's they have ;)

It didn't run yesterday either..

They have in fact introduced an "8A" service.

They justify their decision by comparing buses to shopping...
"Think of it as you would your shopping, not everyone likes Sainsbury's, some people prefer Tesco or Morrisons, same products delivered with a different approach and cost. That's the philosophy behind our service, we merely wish to offer an alternative at a better value fare." - People Movers Facebook Page.

What on earth posseses the traffic commissioners to accept changes with next to no notice from a man whose previous O-licence was revoked?

It's not his licence.

Michael James is the sole director according to companies house and it's incompetence of the first order if vosa don't have a system to flag it up.

Still no 12 service
If it is still not reportedly running, what is the real issue? There's so many buses owned, so surely it's not down to that?

In other news, ex-Go North East Dart NK53 TKN has been added to the fleet.

New timetables are up for 1st July:

8A/9A/15 - http://people-movers.com/people-movers/pages/timetables/8A%209A%2015%202017-07-01.pdf
66 - http://people-movers.com/people-movers/pages/timetables/66%202017-07-01.pdf

12/12B now listed as "Revised service coming soon".

No sign of the first two buses on Route 66. At least the first bus when route 12 started actually ran!
Only Guy Arabs (a choice of 63) stopped at my front door 1957-1964!

Well, it's actually working today. I was just driving through Polesworth and passed YX60 DXF arriving on the 11.20 ex Tamworth. The 65 was just in front and the 785 just behind!

Had a good look at the MJ stuff in Tamworth today, after several hours

8A/9A operating
No 12 Tamworth - Amington
No 15 Tamworth - Wood End
No 66 Tamworth - Polesworth

Are they in trouble already? Most the fleet appears to be for sale

Caught PN07KRU on the 8A and was about the only passenger for the entire trip, driver was driving quite erratically and spent more time watching his phone and texting that he did watching the road.

I fully support independents, I think having competition in Tamworth is excellent but its needs to be done right, this isn't the first time I have caught a driver texting and checking there phone, very passenger focused! No wonder there services are dead.
