It can also be like that at Chelmsley Wood too especially when the schools are out @the trainbasher

Journey times are the biggest put off of using the bus. People don't care what bus it is as long as its relatively clean and dry!

I think more limited stop routes would tempt people to give up the car, as the x51 has proven people will gladly walk a bit further to the stop for the benefit of shorter journey times. For example the 997 although technically limited stop between perry barr and town, if you live in Rushall or Aldridge it still takes over an hour at peak times. Its unnecessary to have stops spaced so closely together.

I agree with people saying the biggest reason is traffic.

Something needs to be done about this. Traffic is bad so people start driving, and traffic gets worse, even more people start driving.
