QuoteStu yes i could but it would make no difference NWM Arent interested as Cannock is out of their jurastiction.

That is true, but the whole point of Network Reviews is for Network West Midlands / Centro to listen to what their passengers want, and even so certain operators such as Arriva who operate services outside their area come under Network West Midlands' jurisdiction, so might be in a position to offer some sort of subsidy in order to make such a service possible. The point I was making was that Network West Midlands want to hear passengers concerns; there may be a whole load of people who share your concerns, but if they don't make their opinions heard, then Network West Midlands can't/won't do anything about it.

As with your recent posts regarding the X31 service, Arriva may have brushed off Centro saying it wasn't commercially viable, but Centro need to know there is enough demand for them to be able to come up with some sort of alternative, rather than just accepting Arriva's 'word' on matters.

Don't give up hope just yet Bob, this is potentially a great opportunity if you can get as many people 'on board' (excuse the pun!) as you can!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Very much doubt it will happen. Tony the 2.39 was rammed, maybe busier because its a faster service than the 2.07

The .07s don't stop at Bloxwich, Bloxwich North or Landywood.

My friend came home on the 2.39 said it was full but not wedged, he had an empty seat next to him

Bob

Where we sat there were full seats and people wedged by the door. Doesnt the 07 one stop at all stations btwn birmingham and walsall

Tony

The xx.07 is just Tame Bridge, Walsall, Cannock, don't get much faster than that.

He was in the front carriage, said people were standing in the doorways, but there were some ignorant people in aisle seats with empty window seats by them and he was at at table with 3 and no-one chose to sat by him.

On Saturdays the xx.07s leave from platform 2b and the rear coach is always the best one, the xx.39s leave from 7a and the front coach is the best one. If you stand by the white doors that leave down to the fire exit the front door will always be by the 'mind the gap' painted in front of you. You can always get a seat even on the most crowded trains if you stand by the 'mind the gap'

Bob

I'll try to remember that Tony. Ive a feeling that Nxwm are going to pull out of the peak extensions to Cannock on the X51 after the network review...

A nbus ticket is only vaild were the bus stop has a nBus logo E.g. Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton ETC,

Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth an NBus is not valid. But I say it should be becuase Tamworth comes under Birmingham Postcodes

Not exactly Nathan. Areas just outside Wolverhampton are including in the N-Bus zone including Codssll,Perton,Pattingham,Wombourne,Himley and Swindon etc

Bob

Do those areas receive support from south staffordshire council then?

Centro can do Nbus a certain distance away from it's boundary's if it benefits the people in the centro area
.

Bob

Itd hugely benefit the people in cannock area as they would be able to make connections in the walsall wolves areas etc but probably not the other way round I mean whod wana go to cannock lol

Anyone else think thay Arriva should bring this service back but with a route revision so it does not use the motorway.  I mean it was never going to be a reliable service going on the M6 to birmingham.

What ideas for routes do people have?
