Can someone else make sense of this... Which London Midland issues are effecting me!!!! I don't know where to start with these 32 service alerts which only specify the operators involved!

and even though it says "services Affected by Disruption Today" you get gems like the service between Birmingham and Liverpool will be affected by a reduced service between 3 and 6 May!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I have just read on there that there will be rail replacements between Birmingham New St and Wolverhampton between the 25th and 28th March

To be honest, the expression "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind!

Personally I found that annoying, as 'Network West Midlands' should be about bus services in this area. I prefer now that when searching by route number you only get resullts relevant to the West Midlands.

I think the new site looks great, seems easy to navigate, and while some functionality may take getting used to (like the timetable search) it will ultimately be far more informative and user-friendly in future.
When searching for a timetable you used to be able to search a area like Solihull and it would give you a list of bus services serving that area. However you can't do that anymore. If someones doesn't know the area very well and wanted to quickly find out what bus they need to get and wanted to see the timetable as well, for example if they wanted to go to the Airport how are they supposed to know its the 966 they need to catch.

I doubt that website will be changed any time soon.

The fact of the matter is @2206 is that it is more a guessing game to find what info you are looking for... There is that many service alerts for London Midland there that it is confusing... I may not find the information I need as I will be too busy looking at the Liverpool journeys rather than the services through Coventry. There should be a filter that you could apply to see what effects your journey... Not every single journey possible!

Don't think MDV are planning any changes to the local West Midlands Traveline pages in the near future.  The national site at www.traveline.info already looks a little like the NWM one now does.  As each Traveline area has a different data provider they will likely remain as they are unless they decide on a redesign.  Hopefully not.

Do people reckon there's still a need for traveline with Google Maps and other journey planning data available to customers?

Yes @Diamond Dart because not everyone knows what different bus companies are available if you are making a trip to a different area, having one place where you can find out all the information is good!

The NWM website now has a PDF showing upcoming service changes so registering by email is not really necessary anymore. PDF shows more details than before it seems too/better layout.

Yes, I think that is better than before - a bit more detail than was previously the case. I assume more changes are due to shown, as the VOSA website had quite a number of changes to timetables and routes planned for 10th April 2016 [with a few in Coventry] but they don't seem to be showing on the PDF, unless I've missed it?

@paulb1973 The PDF was last modified on the 23rd and the registrations weren't accepted until after then if I recall correctly so Centro may not know themselves yet.
