I've heard that most of the services using Merry Hill will be converted into Double Deckers tomorrow. From what I was told spare deckers will be loaned in to ensure that services will cope with the expected crowds. I was also told that the 243 and 276 will be the only routes not to be double decker.

Can anyone confirm this to be true?

Sorry should of stated I only heard this about Pensnett routes, not sure about Walsall.

Normal buses on there normal routes  merry hill shuts early tomorrow

@WN Merry Hill normally busy first thing opens at 7 and dies off around 2/3... tbh seems the normal buses coped with demand today so no point double decking merry hill single decker services.

Happening or not, will someone please re route the 276 in Norton so it can be DD again. Really needs it, especially between dudley and merry hill. Rant over. Lol.

When i submitted feedback for the Dudley Bus Review, I mentioned this and suggested that from Stourbridge the 276 should follow the X96 to Wollaston Farm meaning deckers can be used, and consequently, the X96 should follow the 276 route to Wollaston Junction.
