Do we know if any of WN's new branded B7s (bar 2001-2010) will be getting named?
Hypocrites are like flares... a right pain if one goes near you, and really annoying to get rid of...

6802 is named 'Laura Emily', the same as 4917. So it looks like the names of the current Sutton buses are been transferred over to the MMCs, suggesting they are transferring away

When are 3302/3/4/5 being named

Stuharris 6360

More to the point, why must all WM buses have to be given girls names, I wrote to NE suggesting a name for a bus and was told no because it was a mans name.

If it's true that one of Dundees 47xx has the name Christopher, why can't NE follow suit?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I think it's to do that crafts/ vehicles/ vessels and so on are often referred to be being female. Like the mothership and people refer to their cars as a she.

I can see the argument for male names as it's mostly males driving them but then again drivers who have buses named after their daughters/ wives would testify against it. Tricky 1

I understand your point, but when all of this naming started, wasn't it some PN buses that were named after Dave Healey, Duncan Edwards etc, but after a few WN ones were done, they changed the policy to girls names. Am sure that drivers would also like buses named after there sons, and for female drivers after there husbands and as we are in 2016, gay drivers have a bus named after there partner. To me it's only fair!

I'm not familiar with how the naming system started off but my personal viewpoint is that if buses have to be named, they should be named after long serving employees be it male or female.

I'd quite like Tony to have a bus named after him for all his hard work for the company heck I'd even work NX just to have a Gemini named after me !

I suppose you could go one better - and have the name 'Alexander Dennis' (but I can't imagine there's too many of those!)
