thing they are changing the route 57 to operate into Lyndale Park, looks like there is going to be more buses, but the route looks long if you are going to wolverhampton

The 57 will be rerouted to serve Lyndale Drive. The new 71 (Replacing the 68) will serve Moathouse Estate as opposed to following NX's 59/69/89 down the main Lichfield Rd.

Yes, but not by much. But as the X68 will serve Cannock Bus Station and the X70 will be faster then current routes, why would you want to do the 71 all the way?

I live on Longford estate. Have you seen the X70 timetable? They should be done by trading standards if theyre marketing it as an express lol. Its hardly any quicker than the current 70!

But other than the Select 67 there wasn't a direct bus from Longford to Wolverhampton previously so I am not sure what the issue is?

The green bus number 10 was for years and years ( before they degenerated into bloody breadvans lol) a direct route into Wolverhampton via Longford!

Maybe, but that hasn't run for a good number of years, replaced by Select 67.

From memory, yes.  And then in via Dartmouth Avenue/Dartmouth Road.

The times on Traveline suggest between 08:30 and 15:30 towards Cannock, between 10:20 and 16:20 towards Wolverhampton, so slightly better in some ways than the 18 but slightly worse in others, but then being Centro-tendered you kind of get whatever is available.

Well seeing as the X70 is carrying on all the way to Brereton, I don't think so.
