Yeah - most already do use the 37 and 6 between City and Sparkbrook/Hill - due to the frequency and the ease of them in comparison of the 5/31 etc.

How is moving a more frequent service (6/37) to High Street and moving all the Bristol and Pershore Road buses onto Carrs Lane going to make anything better?

Well the 45/47 seem to sit up there for a few minutes whenever I see them - the 6 and 37 tend to only spend 3 mins max in city. Other advantage is at least Sparkbrook passengers will be able to spread better between the 6 and 37 with them going from stops right next to each other.

@MW You'll be pleased to know that the 6 is also moving to High Street!  :D

The timetables are being adjusted, so the 6 and 37 provide a 3 minute frequency between city and Sparkbrook.

The 2, 3, 5 and 31 timetables are being adjusted, so between the four services there'll be a 5 minute frequency to Sparkbrook. Hopefully more people will use these services instead, making the 6 and 37 less crowded!

Whenever I have a single decker on the 37, at Carrs Lane, if there's a 2/3/5/31 (Trident/Gemini), loads of people go from the 37 stand to the others. People prefer doubles.

@MW I do not think most people care they will wait at the stand were the service runs most often in my case the 55/94 stand but if a 56/70 is quieter to be one of the first on the bus they will go to the stand or if that one comes first. A lot of people prefer to get a seat on a bus rather than standing on a overcrowded 55.

That's not the case on Hagley road, passengers will let 120, 140 & 141's go past just to get on a 9 with a standing load and this was before the new buses came too.

I've also noticed that they have the 1** phobia along the Hayley road

Yup, same as Carrs Lane, the public don't like single deckers! Well it's probably just the younger people who tend to sit upstairs.

So if the public do not like single deckers why is every 55 journey living the City Centre either full or overcrowded. The 141 is double Deckers though. People prefer to get a seat that's why when a 56/70 turns up people will choose to get the emptier quieter bus than get an overcrowded bus. they want a seat @MW that's why people catch the 56/70/94/55 from Jennes Road before it enters the City Centre.

I don't know why your getting upset/defensive. I'm giving my opinion based on observations I've made.

I am not getting upset/defensive they are my opinions and what I have seen on the Washwood Heath Road and what I have seen on the Waswood Heath Road. I have been using the 55 for 10 years.
