It's a personal preference mate I prefer Mercedes engined Solo due to the wineing gear noises and @Will prefer Cummins engined Solo as they sound and are very powerful.

As @Simon Dunn has stated it's still not make enough money for the commercial cost (remember the 142 day service is not subsidised like the evenings and Sunday) and concessonary passes not valid during the morning peak...

@Trident 4194 the daytime 142 is going and @Central Buses Will most like run it hourly if it's not subsidised daytime.

@Simon Dunn has Diamond ever thought of running the old 248 between Stourbridge and Dudley?
