Is it known if there is to be a last day of the Merc,s ?   or are they just to disappear  from the streets without a albeit small fanfare ?,  I know that the fan base is not the same as a say the Metrobus,  but it does seem a pity that this workhorse is not get its day, I am not a fan.

Personally I think there should be something for the B6/B10L aswell.

The workload at West Midlands Fire service will halve when the Mercs go....

I second that. Would be nice one B6 (preferably 508 since it's the ex-PE B6) have a last day on 222 for nostalgic reasons. :3 Hard to decide which route for a B10L but would be nice indeed. I hope this will happen. <crosses fingers and toes>

We could always see if NXWM will do like an enthusiasts tour (or let them be hired and run similar to some of the enthusiast tours where someone organises it with NXWM) using one of each (the oldest B6, B10 and 1515?) if anyone's game

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

See if they can also add 4001/4002 into the mix too?

Not exactly, as the Tridents are still around for a few years yet! Once the Tridents go I think the workload will be significantly reduced. ;-)

Nah, id have the B10's on the PB33 & WA301, the Mercs on the Inner Circle, but i agree with the Spectras on the YW50
Hypocrites are like flares... a right pain if one goes near you, and really annoying to get rid of...

The ones I listed are what routes these types first operated when new, as PE have never had Spectras or Presidents then it wouldn't really work
