502 on 22 again

Was around 7 mins early into Harborne

The burning question is, did he wait time?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Who knows! TGB 22 is a monster of a route combining 2 different corridors together with fairly elderly buses, Diamonds timetabling on the 002 is fairly hopeless with double the frequency, modern buses and not entering the City centre so TGB do fairly well if a bus completes 1 round trip in about 2 hours!

Probably, not sure why they start so early

My money's on this change being extended operating hours, but I don't know. Will see if I can find out.

50A could that be linked to Green bus trying to cash in on the Redditch branch being closed over the summer?
Midland Red West, one of the best Companies to serve Redditch, with some of the best buses.

Is it not the fact that the VOSA registration still includes details of the 50A? And really, is it closing over summer?

From observations of TGB on the 22 there seemed to be an extra bus meaning buses were having a 30 minute layover at the Town Hall. I went for the 1400 from the Town Hall which was already parked up at 1350 then as were pulling out 104 pulled up in front of us and unloaded. Also KEFW 113 was parked up in Paradise Circus at 1245 and we then passed it in Halesowen having made the 1444 departure.

Are buses now laying over for 30 mins at Town Hall?

That would explain why there were 6 buses on there today. I think you are correct, this must be very recent though.
