I'm pretty sure we're getting the 4 P-reg Olympians; perhaps these new R-reg Olympians will be moved onto the routes which the P-reg ones previously operated.

Evergreen have these 4 ex Lothian P-reg deckers, they are 81 seaters

Yes, as previously suggested by Tony, these may have their dual doors removed, to allow for the addition of 4 seats to make it up to 85. It seems certain to me that this is what will happen, given the Hagley routes have been promised 85 seat double deckers

I'd be surprised if Evergreen/Thandi would convert them to single door format, more than likely they will just seal up the centre doors so they can't open & install two rows of extra seats

Matt,

Do you have any idea what Greenbus are planning to do with the deckers made redundant off the Hagley school routes & others?

Not sure if it is an Ensign one. They have it on loan as a trial and if successful will lease some from one of the leasing companies who have had them returned from London

Santander have them listed as well but also for sale, the photos are identical to the ones on the Ensign web page

Might seem a silly question but if they are losing work and have lost work, do they need more buses?

my thought exactly, the other day Green Bus had a bus parked at the end of Colmore Row for a few hours (Running Board was HC2), if buses can stand idle like that, surely they don't need any more buses.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Very interesting to see how their business progresses in the next few months. Unless tridents are going to other parts of the country for contracts.
