Quote from: mikestone on April 27, 2022, 04:16:07 PMA little surprised to see printed blinds with Rail Replacement  Coleshill Parkway, and presumably in error, Birmingham International, on Saturday.
.
Are they done in house?

They were made by an external company last summer and were fitted to most E400s as a cheap and quick alternative to LEDs. They have all the regular rail destinations (and the bus routes) but for some reason when you select "Rail Replacement" the display they wind round to is "Rail Replacement International" or something like that, probably a typing error when they were ordered

Enviro400 Trident 611 (LJ09 CDX) has been repainted into overall dark green (like the B7RLEs), the first of the batch to be done, I believe. I'm still not convinced about the new colours, though my opinion may change when the lighter green & names, etc. are added. On a dull day, when I first saw it at distance, I thought it was a WM Platinum.

I would have thought these days LEDs would be cheaper than paying printers - or even the blank blinds.

GreenBus have always been a bit quirky and, I'm assuming that, the blinds fitted to these buses are to maintain their London look with New Johnstone typeface too.

Yes, there is a cost and the risk of typos on these blinds, but they do look fantastic!
Autofare 3 - the ticket that laughs in the face of contactless!

I also remember Chase had a misprint on their blinds showing "Litchfield" with an erroneous 'T'!

One of the ex-Lothian deckers appears to have been resprayed without the use of masking tape - and rather surprisingly its not an unattractive result!

620 to 635 have all arrived from Abellio, they are "mark 2" Enviro400s (originally Euro 5) unlike 601 to 619.

Everything that is not an E400, Gemini or B7RLE is now withdrawn from service, except for 365. This also includes 619 which is being cut up for seatbelt pull-testing following a major RTC earlier this year.

Do you have a list of the acquired buses, please? Also, can anyone confirm the GB fleet numbers of the retained B7RLEs? it's tempting to assume that they have been numbered in sequence, but confirmation (or otherwise) would be appreciated, Thanks.

Are they all entering service in London red? If so, should they not rename as The Red Bus Company!!

As TGB have not been tracking on Bustimes since mid-May, can anyone advise which, if any, of this year's routes are routinely scheduled for B7RLE operation, please?
