It doesn't sound like NXWM were ever in the running for taking on the school services, more of what they may be able to provide to link existing services to the school

Or possibly a new shuttle service between Hagley & Halesowen to link in with the 9 for pupils coming from B'ham, Bearwood areas etc & the 002 for Bartley Green etc

It is almost a certainty now that Evergreen will be taking over the Hagley services.

It has already been confirmed that they are taking over the St. Paul's services

The Hagley school website today confirms Evergreen Coaches will be taking over the school services again.

Beat me to it! Yes, sadly Evergreen won the vote. On the plus side, the Spectras and Olympians might not be that bad. However if Thandi are anything to go by I'll have to get to my stop a bit earlier as, from experience of when they did the services before, they could turn up at absolutely any time.

Currently on 105 on the last morning HC2, rather apt as 105 was the first Green Bus I ever rode on the HC2

Thandi have bought 4 R-reg deckers from Ensign during October, I assume for the Hagley RC services

Taken from Ensign Oct log:
Olympians R830 / 831 / 838 / 843MFR : Thandi Coaches, Birmingham.

They are Olympians, aren't they? They seem a little bit too old to be East Lancs bodies Tridents.

Are they the 85 seat deckers we have been promised?

They are Volvo Olympians ex Go South Coast, new to Metrobus, Orpington.

They were new as H47/25D and are still in dual door format, so 85 seaters no chance.....

I'm sure I saw one passing through Aldridge yesterday. It was just a glance as I was in the car driving in the opposite direction, it was in this livery, at the island by the pub, heading down Northgate

Stuharris 6360

Can't see them having the time or money to have them converted to single entrance buses, just to gain an extra couple of seats.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
