Since it is the end of yet another year, a quick question.

What is your (you've seen in person / on the forum) rarest working of 2014.

Trident 4609

There's a few i could choose from at WN:

5409 on WN28 today
5401 on WN2 yesterday
600,640 and 848 on late night WN1 on seperate occasions.
858 on WA89 a few months back. First time an E200 worked the route and hadn't happened since

The closest thing to a rare working I got to personally see is a Plaxton President on the Stratford Road in Sparkbrook (either on 2/3 or 37). But it did happen several times this year, so not exceptionally rare.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

586 297

The top one is not rare at all. Happens most weekdays

Have we gone a whole year without a single-decker on the Outer Circle? I don't remember seeing one reported on here since 2013.

Don't recall it being reported. However, its not to say one hasn't occured....

Exactly. If one has got out on there though it would have been extremely rare. I catch it to work on a regular basis and the only single deckers I've seen on there have GRS written on the side and are a minute or two ahead of a NX one.

Don't you mean they still have "I'm a little gem" written on the side?!  ;) :P

Oh yes, I saw one of those the other day, where did that come from?

Joe's travel most recently but before that a Manchester new start seen here: https://www.facebook.com/imalittlegem They went caput pretty fast and Joe's travel got the FFC dart. Cornwall Busways got R530YRP which has now been acquired by Western Greyhound!

Was it this year that a B5LH appeared on the 14? Or was that last year? There was one on the 97 certainly.

And they say the rest was history....

...at least it has a smarter Hanover display programming now... (Non of that route number on a piece of paper in the window tat that Joes had!)
