There's an Enviro 400 on the 120, 11:05 departure from Colmore Row

Why there double deckers on for?

If you saw the 18:05 departure, you wouldn't be asking that

120 is in turmoil with 2 buses in near convoy and 1 stuck in snow. I hear some have stayed on the main roads following the 126 route.

Also a B7 on the 126, possibly 2027

This was about 18:10, first Enviro to arrive was 4822, which was packed to the rafters, and my bus, 4825, which left before 4822 and was conveniently quiet

I was on 4200, passed the others just before the Ivy Bush. Which route has yours taken?

Also 4803 is no longer stuck...

Took the normal route

I would have expected the 24/29/A to have double deckers today with many other single deckers getting doubles today

Only saw Geminis on the 37, albeit, I only saw 2 buses (one was a flip-dot example 4517 or 4519). A Scania and Trident (4375) on the 6

From what Ive read, it proves that Walsall can use double deckers on the Bradford Place routes(well most of them!) when they want to.

I believe every single Walsall route, with the exception of the 34/39 (which have Scanias on) are double deck operated today.

This includes such rare routes as the 4/4M, 311/313, 29 & 70.

Noticed in Walsall so far...
4/M - 4126, 4129, 4131, 4136, 4138, 4306, 4308 & 4534
29E - 4734
40E - 4871
51 - Unusually has a couple of Tridents & standard Gems on, in addition to Enviros
70 - 4305 & 4764
89 - 4140 & 4681
301/302 - 4326, 4532, 4684, 4685, 4763 & 4767
311/313 - 4127, 4327 & 4682

I have only seen singles on the 24

The 29 has pretty much seen a blanket ban on double deckers since it was re routed via Black Haynes Rd and Swarthmore Rd a few years back (the odd decker working is always on the 29A) and since the 24, 29 and 29A interwork on late evenings and Sundays you won't see a DD on a Sunday service.
