Just wondering if any B10Bs have been/will be preserved as it seems important to preserve buses from this era and Bammot need to preserve some more modern buses-they need to have a lynx, a wm independant national, B10b etc... Have all the strider ones been scrapped as one should have been preserved if so. Hate to break it to people but its not all about metrobuses..... a wright one at least would be preserved and then that screeching noise wont be lost forever!!!

Interesting points and I certainly think that a Wrights bodied B10B should be preserved as an important part of the West Midlands Scene.

But as for saying that BaMMOT need to save this and save that remember they are a charity who rely on volunteers, so they can't do everything!

I think at least one B10B should be preserved in the original grey, red and blue TWM livery

Would be pritty cool to have one in the old line 33 livery

1441 or 1463 would be good candidates.

They are B10Ls, not B10Bs.

B10Ls should be preserved too! My candidates would be 1408, 1436, 1457 and of course 1511. A B10B would be very interesting too especially as its a step entrance easy access bus! Would anyone on here dare preserve a B6? :P

Haha! Step entrance 'kneeling bus' you mean.

If it was step entrance, it wouldn't be easy accessible would it?

Unless they own a water company for the overheating

Ashley

As far as I know, B10Bs are a nightmare from a drivers point of view, they did used to overheat alot and theyre abit of a weight, and maybe one of these, a B10L, maybe a B6LE and a Merc or two. Preserved Spectra out oh the question I assume
