27 27a 41 withdrawn
New 22 From Pool Meadow - Stonehouse estate via old X16 route till then Yarningdale Rd then down St James Lane, then left and as 41 to terminate.
22a variant from Pool Meadow - Middlemarch via above 22 route till St JJames Lane then Left turn onto London Rd then as 27a to middlemarch. Only 2 buses will be need for operation as during peak times both buses would be in operation as 22a and one stays out in the daytime as 22.
I have came up with a timetable which I will post in the morning.

Not forgetting service 41 is contractually combined with the Cannon Park service 47,  but I've had various ideas on this...

The plentiful drop back service 87 currently has at Pool Meadow could allow it to extend with just one added bus via your suggested route and reintroduce a link to Coventry Rail Station, and also call via Canley Road or Cannon Park estate on relevant/certain off peak journeys to kill off the 47 service, Those Canley Rd/Cannon Park/Stonehouse bits can be forgotten about at peak time to maintain the hourly timetable and reliabilty.  Certain/relevant service 580 journeys could go via Stonehouse and provide the estate with similar coverage to what the 41 does. I suppose it would depend if the Stonehouse bus users would prefer 3 journeys per day on a direct route or 6+ journeys per day on a convoluted route. Either way this would cover Centro subsidised routes 27/41/47 with one less bus overall.

NXC runs the 27A to Middlemarch on a commercial basis so that service is likely to remain as it is for the foreseeable future.

Also, in reply to the 47, route 5 could be made to always have single deckers so it can go under Canley Road bridge as 5a and then go up Fletchhamsted Hwy to Torrington Ave. Then all 18a buses between 9am and 4pm could go via Bransford Ave to cover the 47 subsidy.

Canley Road has a footbridge over the rail line so the largest vehicle which can cross the rail line here is probably a bicycle. :)
The current 47 is likely the appropriate level of service so re-routing 87 would provide similar level of service and maintain the link from Canley Road to Cannon Park shopping centre.  The 5 and 18A are rather constrained for time so unlikely to have any more bits of route added.

The 41 and 47 are shoppers services.
"Planners" would be best off contacting residents by leaflet asking specifically when they need buses and what for, rather than starting with one bus and attempting cram as many journeys in as possible. I've seen the 09:08 from Cannon Park en route a number of times always empty not surprising as it runs before the OAP pass is valid. Soon after NX 12's are running empty back to Coventry from the nearby Uni!
Stonehouse needs small buses due to parking and residents use a footpath to walk out of the estate directly to The Chase.

The De Courcey depot is just around the corner from Stonehouse!

As mentioned routes tend to be contractually combined rather than efficiently interworked with the contract stating tickets from any partcipating operators being valid.
