Former BA bus noted in Kings Norton

On my way home tonight, in fading light, I passed what appeared to be a former British Airways bus (a DAF / Optare Delta, I think), in partly stripped condition, on land bordering Lifford Lane, Kings Norton, near its junction with Pershore Road South.

Can anyone throw any light on this, please?

As a postscript to my original report, I did not have the opportunity to pass that way again until the following Thursday (30/10), by which time the said bus had disappeared.

Yes there was a ex BA delta parked in the back of the car park for the roadhouse/route 69 bar......I think it has been moved now though
