I read  on one of the Facebook groups that 89 91 108 are going to Tamworth

The only vehicle that isn't easy access is the RML. The journeys allocated to the RML will have a duplicate vehicle to ensure DDA standards are maintained.

Professionally run operation to the end. The Routemaster was immaculately turned out and the use of an Enviro duplicate when few operators would have bothered was commendable.

The specially printed farewell day tickets were a nice touch, and credit to Midland Classic for not only providing Optare Spectra 41 and Stevensons liveried Scania Omnidekka 55, but also for excepting Central's day ranger tickets on all of their services.

What a great day, was good to see so many out to bid us farewell. Bringing the Spectra into Walsall at 1435 was fun, we seemed to create quite a stir. Hope I let you all get your photos! Would be good to know where they're all posted.

Here is a selection of my pictures I took yesterday for Central Buses Farewell Day. What a fantastic Farewell Day from Central Buses and it was kind of Midland Classic to send out two of their buses for the day. It's a great shame to see another independent operator to disappear. Ex Central Buses Bus on route 25 today Ward End - Erdington. Must be doing route training as there is 3 drivers on the bus.
